Lesotho deposits MLI ratification instrument

On July 28th, 2022, Lesotho has deposited its instrument of ratification for the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS Convention), which now covers over 1820 bilateral tax treaties, thus underlining its strong commitment to prevent the abuse of tax treaties and base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) by multinational enterprises. The BEPS Convention will enter into force on 1 November 2022 for Lesotho.
