Canada Pursues Free Trade Network
Canada has announced the launch of free trade negotiations with Morocco, as
part of the government’s ongoing efforts to broaden its network of agreements
that reduce tariff barriers on international bilateral trade.

China Plans To Extend Resource Tax Nationwide
China's Finance Minister, Xie Xuren, has confirmed that the government will introduce
the resource tax, which is currently levied only in certain of the poorest provinces
within the western Xinjiang region, to other areas of the country in the next
five years.
China Halves Import Duty On Digital Products
The tariff has been halved, from 20% to 10%, on personal imports of information
technology and digital products, such as computers, video camcorders and cameras,
into China.

EU Extends Mandate of Transfer Pricing Forum
The European Commission has decided to extend the mandate of the European Union Joint Transfer Pricing Forum until March 2015, and has also adopted
a communication setting out guidelines on two technical issues related to transfer

The Alderney Gaming Control Commission has issued a statement rejecting statements
made by British newspapers that the island, despite the jurisdiction’s
white-listed status, offers less protection to UK consumers than companies

Following President Obama’s State of the Union Address, the president of
