China Scraps Coke Export Tax
Within China’s recently-announced new import and export tariff schedules,
which will be in effect from January 1, 2013, it has been noted that the current
40% export duty on coke, which is mainly used as a fuel in steel production, is
no longer listed and appears, therefore, to have been cancelled.
